Sharon Tate was honored with "The Bronze Halo" and "The
Golden Halo" Awards from The
Southern California Motion Picture Council. The Awards are for "The Highest
Achievement in The Film and Televison Industry" and was given to Sharon by
her peers. Debra Tate accepted on her sister's behalf.
Hal Gefsky was Sharon's agent. Hal and Debra had not seen each other for
decades and it was a wonderful reunion. Hal was bestowed the "Humanitarian
Award" by the SCMPC. In his small acceptance speech, Hal simply said;
"Thank you for this award, and I'd like to especially Thank You for
acknowledging Sharon Tate."
