The Official Sharon Tate Fansite

Thank you for signing Sharon Tate's
"Hollywood Walk of Fame"
Star Petition!

What a devastating thing to take place, the death of Sharon Tate. It really breaks my heart. The fact that jealousy can be taken so far. So sad to lose such a beautiful creature (inside and out) for such a perverse reason.

i am so saddened by her unwarranted, brutal death, but what an accomplishment in just 26 tender years...sharon was a star and should be honored just like all of the other stars.

Dear Webmaster, I placed an entry in the comments about the star for Sharon. After I his 'submit' I noticed that you wished for us NOT to put any comments about her death.... PLEASE, PLEASE excuse my entry; I did not see that request when I typed my entry; you have my sincerest apology..... Gene (please delete or cut and paste as necessary on my entry..... once again excuse my mistake; I hope it hasn't hurt anyone's feelings.... honestly, I feel terrible about having accidentally went against your wishes.)

Honestly, I am sitting here asking myself.... "What, ? Sharon DOES NOT have a star on the walk of fame!?!" I can't believe that we are actually having to petition for the late Ms. Tate to have a star. She should have had/been given one YEARS, I REPEAT, YEARS ago, my goodness she sure earned it; basically and sadly she paid with her life! It is very, very, sad that her talent was taken from this world so prematurely. From all the wonderful things that I have read about her, no doubt she is in heaven w/ her mom and sister Patti. God Bless you Debbie, keep your faith and I wish you the ABSOLUTE best in getting your sister that star that she WELL DESERVES. God Bless, Gene

I was recently given a compliment saying I resemble Sharon Tate. I replied with a thank you, but I had no idea of who she is or what Sharon looked like. I got on the computer assuming she must be someone famous and was saddened, as well as most pleasantly surprise of who she is and how beautiful she is. This is a great site, I am walking away now knowing a bit of history about a wonderful actress and I do hope she does get her star she deserves. Thanks Danielle

Hi, I have been a fan of Sharon Tate since I was a teenager watching "Don't make waves"And "Valley of the dolls".I didn't know that she had been in soo many other movies. She deserves to be on the "Walk of Fame" just for just what she went through,if not for anything else. What a way to celebrate her life. I feel bad that her life was cut so short. It makes you wonder what she would have done. And I always wonder what her son would have become. What happened to her sister Patty,I didn't even know she was sick. Also her mother deserves something in her name for all she has done too.

Sharon was a beautiful women who's life and career were cut short....I am sure that she would have gone on to do great things in Hollywood. It seems like whenever her name is mentioned her talent is over shadowed by the tragedy that happened in the summer of 69. I think the star would make people remember that she was a talented actress not just a murder victim.

I THINK THAT SHARON TATE DESERVES A STAR ON THE WALK OF FAME. NOT ONLY WAS SHE A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, SHE WAS JUST RISING TO FAME WHEN SHE WAS TAKEN FROM THIS WORLD. SHE NEVER GOT THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW THE WORLD ALL SHE WAS MADE OF AND SHE WOULD'VE LASTED IN THE SPOTLIGHT FOR YEARS.

Sharon Tate: a talented, young voice who must not be suppressed by her untimely death—an American icon who shouldn't go unnoticed—let her, in death, be immortalized in life with a Walk of Fame consecration.

this star, if awarded, is late but still greatly due. Sharon worked for and deserves this as a commemoration of her achievements, and life. An actress We respected not only for her acting abilities, but as well as her attitude. A true beauty, and talent. Down to Earth, and radiated not only outwardly but she radiated a sense of inner warmth, tenderness and caring. which is a not so typical trait amongst Hollywood starletts these days. I am disappointed to hear that she is YET to have received this award, because here it is honestly and most truly deserved..... Brooke

I have been fascinated by Sharon ever since I first saw her in Valley of the Dolls several years ago. Not only was she stunning, but she proved to be a star on the rise, if only she had been given the opportunity to unleash her talent and charisma in the following years. I can clearly see what the world missed. Now, I believe that the least we can do is honor her memory. She is OUR Hollywood star! Thank the Lord for sending Sharon to us, although she was with us for a short time, she's one of heaven's most beautiful angels.

I cannot believe Sharon Tate isn't remembered on the Hollywood walk of fame. She was a talented, beautiful actress cut down in the prime of her life. I think that Sharon Tate would have made an even stronger reputation for herself if she had been alive to achieve her goals. Even if, by the off chance that she hadnt became more successful, she should still have a Hollywood Square in commemorating her legacy, and her unborn son.

I hope these sick individuals are never released out of prison. They deserve so much worse than us paying for them to get college educations! They should be put in a dark hole in the ground and made to stay there till their last breath. I know God has forgiven them, but there should be some kind of punishment for what they have done and I don't feel that sitting in prison getting free food, free room and board, free education, tv, free time, fun is what you call punishment. They should be happy to be where they are at and not try to get out every few years for "good behavior." They should of had to really be punished for what they have done.

Sharon Tate was a beautiful woman and from what I have witnessed, a wonder actress. I do not understand why she doesn't already have a star on the walk of fame. Knowing that she does not makes me chuckle at some of the ones I did see when I visited Hollywood. Some not as deserving as Sharon. She may be gone, but she will NEVER be forgotten. I would love to visit the walk again and see that Hollywood feels the same as me and so many others, by having her star placed where she so rightfully deserves. I can't believe you have not given her a star already. Should we REALLY have to sign a petition to get you to recognize someone who should have been recognized years ago? Thank you

I am writing for the voice of so many Sharon fans in the UK. Not only does this actress deserve a star on the Walk of Fame for her work in films, but also for the type of person she appeared to be. Surely for someone who had only made half a dozen films, to have made such an impression all over the world, is an accomplishment in its own that should be honoured. Lets remember her for her work, and her beauty, not the aftermath.

Sharon Tate was one of the most glamourous actresses of the 1960s...she was the original "swinging chick" and defined what it meant to be a mod beauty. She also generated a sweetness and vulnerability that endeared her to fans around the world. And who can forget those eyes...I would love to see her name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
