The Official Sharon Tate Fansite

Thank you for signing Sharon Tate's
"Hollywood Walk of Fame"
Star Petition!

I think she was a really talented actress who was taken too soon for us to get to see more of her great acting, and maybe the "it" role. Though, in the short time she lived she still managed to create an icon of herself. When you think of the sixties, you think of Sharon Tate. I'm sure the case would be the same even if it wasn't for her higly publicized death. We should show her our honors and award her with the star on Walk of Fame. She was definatally famous enough if you look at it from that persceptive to be awarded with one.

Sharon Tate was a beautiful girl. She was sweet when America was 'sweet'. She was mom's apple pie and the girl next door. I cried when she died. America should honour this girl and all she stood for ... a spot on the 'walk of fame' might let young America put the tragedy of her passing behind the essence that was this lovely young woman. C'mon America ... do the right thing.

Sharon Tate Polanski definitely deserves a star on the Hollywood walk of fame despite her short acting/film career. I remember watching Valley of the Dolls and Petticoat Junction as a kid. My parents were very fond of Sharon as an actress. She was beautiful, poised, elegant and passionate. Sharon would have made it in Hollywood without Roman Polanski's help or influence because she had the drive to "make it". I am 15 years Sharon's junior but I remember the turbulent 60's quite well. Sharon's influence in Hollywood was real. She had this natural honest quality about her and she didn't act like she took life or her career for granted. I'm sure on the inside Sharon wasn't a phoney and she was a warm beautiful person. I loved her and I hope she gets my vote for a star on Hollywood Boulevard.

Sharon, with your beauty and your great talent you not only have made such films as "The Eye of the Devil" or "Valley of the Dolls" even better than they already are, you have created an image that still haunts us today. You were something special, you are still remembered which means that you have reached immortality.

If Lassie and Rin Tin Tin can have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, then it is unquestionable a true star of quality such as Sharon Tate be memorialized for her life's work.

the magnitude of the event though tragic, demands that she is remembered for her accomplishments and not for the single event.
In an industry that overlooks criminal behavior by its constituents and then rewards them with awards and fame, it should not overlook someone whose obvious star quality was cut short.

This beautiful actress was "on her way" in the entertainment world when tradegy struck. She is now synonymous with America's most famous crime. Every person in America knows who Sharon Tate is. While her body of work may have been in it's early stages, she is deserving of the recognition a star would bring. I know it would have made her very happy!

I truly believe Sharon Tate should receive a star. She was a brilliant actress who could act in dramas, as well as, comedies. She was taken way before her time and I believe that if she had not been taken away she would have a couple of Oscars on her mantelpiece at home.

OF ALL THE MOVIES STARS FROM THE PAST, SHARON TATE EMULATES STRIKING BEAUTY. HER FACE COULD MAKE ONE STOP IN THEIR TRACKS. TO SEE HER ON FILM, YOU WOULD HAVE TO WONDER HOW IT WAS THAT ONE COULD HAVE SO MUCH. SHE DESERVES A STAR ON THE WALK OF FAME, SIMPLY FOR HER TALENT, IF NOT FOR HER EXTREME BEAUTY.

I adored her in Valley of the Dolls and I know she would have done great things if only she hadn't been taken from us. Her special qualities shined through on to the screen. Give this STAR her STAR!
